Just hours ago, an incident involving multiple stabbings occurred at Franklin Regional High School in Pennsylvania resulted in at least 20 injuries, 4 of which are critical. Whilst some reports state that the suspect was a male year 10 student at the school, sources are yet to confirm if the individual taken into custody is a teacher or student.
The incident is said to have occurred just after 7:00am this morning at the local High School. The school have issued an official statement, informing the public that “a critical incident has occurred at the high school”. Franklin Regional High School assured the press that all high school and middle school students are secure.
Forbes hospital have confirmed that 7 of the victims are in their care and at least one victim has been airlifted to Allegheny General Hospital, with reports that multiple victims had to be airlifted to nearby hospitals. Thankfully, none of the injuries are said to be life threatening.
A press conference is expected shortly. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the affected families and friends of those at Franklin Regional High School. This is truly a tragedy.
