At 3.30am this morning, we were softly sobbing as we endeavoured to bring upsetting news to our fellow Gleeks: Chris Colfer, the actor who plays Kurt Hummel in Glee, announced over Twitter he was leaving the popular TV series over “personal reasons”.
Besides being sad at the prospect of having to say goodbye to another Glee club member so soon, we were confused as to why Fox had “let go” of Colfer. Rumours quickly abounded, ranging from contractual disputes to claims he was fired.
But then the team at FOX hit Twitter to say the comment was a hoax.

But then the conspiracy theories started, with some claiming there was no hack and that Colfer had let the cat out of the bag too soon.
Or maybe it was all publicity for the upcoming final season?

Regardless, we’re happy we’ll still be seeing Kurt a bit longer. Also, fuck you, hacker, for playing with our hearts!
