A man has been stabbed to death at the Westfield shopping centre in Parramatta, in what police believe to be an isolated, domestic dispute.
The attack occurred around 10.30 am this morning, with the incident taking place just outside the Myer department store in front of numerous witnesses. Police arrested a shirtless 33-year-old man outside another store, shortly after the stabbing. The alleged attacker had reportedly ripped off his shirt and lit a cigarette while waiting for police, with one witness describing him as looking ‘calm.’
A crime scene has been established and investigations into the circumstances of the stabbing are in the early stages.
