This is more than a little awkward considering the events of the past year.

Malaysian Airlines have made headlines this year with the two most notable plane accidents in recent history. Firstly, Flight MH370 disappearing from it’s flight path and still remains an open investigation, and second, Flight MH17 being shot down by air missiles on the Russian/Ukraine border.

Recently, Australian victims of the MH17 crash were returned home to allow for their families to hold funerals and gain closure from the terrible accident. Meanwhile, the search continues off the coast of Western Australia for the missing MH370 aircraft.

The page has now been pulled down, but the most astonishing thing is that the Malaysian Airlines marketing team thought the campaign was a good idea in the first place.
