It’s Friday! And that also means it’s SH!T WATCH day.
In honour of the scathing comedy stylings of the late Joan Rivers, we haven’t held back this week.
Let’s get straight into it…
Pedestrian TV threw shade like no tomorrow after a member (heh) of 5SOS had nude photos leak:
Size matters, apparently.
In more amusing news, not long after last week’s SHI!T WATCH went live, a truly spectacular thing went down involving perennial SH!T WATCH faves Mamamia.
For some background, Mamamia had been running a very public campaign to get Kevin Andrews to pull out of a guest appearance at the anti-gay, anti-abortion World Congress of Families. Of course, so had almost the entire Australian media.
When Andrews pulled out of the conference, Mamamia were quick to take credit:
This birthed the #thanksmamamia hashtag which swept over Twitter, and produced some pretty hilarious results:
“We thought establishing a global Islamic caliphate was a great idea, but an insightful MamaMia op-ed really made us think” #thanksmamamia

We’d like to thank Mamamia (and everyone involved) for keeping us really entertained at work last Friday.
As for this weeks Clickbait Trophy? We were able to narrow it down a little more. Mainly thanks to The Music’s Facebook sell of the controversy that surrounded Max McKinnon this week:
Did the inaugural winner of the Clickbait Trophy teach you nothing? Clickbaiting domestic violence is not on, guys!
Looks like Junkee has retaliated, with their recaps of The Bachelor. While they haven’t stolen all of the slang Mamamia’s Rosie Waterland has coined, they definitely seemed to dig the hashtag and decided to throw it in their post also. Take a look:
All fair in love and war and Bachelor recaps. Or something. #dirtywhatthefuckisgoingon.
Until next week!
