In case you’ve been living under a rock (if so, lucky you), the story’s central premise is:

When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.

The series has been widely condemned by everyone except horny housewives, but that hasn’t stopped the franchise from becoming an absolute juggernaut, with the adaption of the first book due to hit screens shortly.

The new posters are identical to the films key art in basically every way – except for the text, which has been rejigged to include direct quotes from the EL James literary masterpiece. It serves as a pretty quick reminder to the rather problematic content of the novel and its unhealthy depiction of BDSM relationships.

In any case, clickthrough for the below examples, which are sure to whet your appetite:

The film hits screens on Valentine’s Day, if you’re um, into that sort of thing.
